Probative surfaces brought into scope by this page
This page does more than point to governance files. It is also anchored to surfaces that make observation, traceability, fidelity, and audit more reconstructible. Their order below makes the minimal evidence chain explicit.

AI brand perception vs AI brand sentiment
Sentiment usually qualifies polarity: positive, neutral, mixed or negative. AI brand perception covers a broader space: identity, category, attributes, relations, time, sources, positioning and recommendability.
Positive output can be wrong
“This excellent digital agency provides SEO, Web development and many marketing services” is positive. If the entity is now positioned as an interpretive-governance laboratory and the agency role is historical, the representation can be flattering and still drifted.
Negative output can be faithful
An answer may present documented criticism, a regulatory decision or a real incident with attribution and date. Sentiment is negative, but fidelity may be high. It must not be treated as a risk to suppress.
| Dimension | Sentiment | Perception/representation |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluative tone | Yes | Yes, among others |
| Identity | No | Yes |
| Category | No | Yes |
| Scope | No | Yes |
| Source and attribution | Rarely | Essential |
| Time | Rarely | Essential |
| Fidelity to canon | No | Must be measured |
Monitoring rule
Keep sentiment as one column, never the verdict. Alerts should combine claim severity, identity, category, attribution, time, decision proximity and repetition.
Sentiment answers “what tone?” Fidelity answers “what meaning, boundaries and evidence were preserved?”
