IIP-Scoring™: operational method (bounded public view)
IIP-Scoring™ provides a way to measure interpretive integrity. The aim is not to rate whether a response sounds persuasive. The aim is to measure whether an interpretation is faithful, bounded, provable, and sustainable.
This page describes a publishable operational method. It is intentionally bounded: it makes the logic understandable and auditable without exposing sensitive proprietary details such as fine-grained weights, internal matrices, or arbitration heuristics.
Operational definition
IIP-Scoring™ is an operational framework for qualifying the distance between a declared canon and the outputs produced under stated conditions.
What the score measures
At a public level, the score measures whether outputs:
- stay close to the canon;
- respect the authority boundary;
- preserve enough proof and traceability;
- resist drift under changing contexts;
- remain sustainable over time.
Application surfaces
The method can be applied to doctrinal pages, entity representations, recommendation surfaces, retrieval environments, and comparative evaluation across models.
Scoring structure (public view)
Dimension 1: canon and authority
Does the output remain anchored to the correct canonical and authority surfaces?
Dimension 2: proof and traceability
Can the answer be tied to evidence, source role, and response conditions?
Dimension 3: robustness to drift
How easily does the output drift under prompt variation, context changes, or competing signals?
Dimension 4: temporal stability
Does the interpretation remain coherent across snapshots, releases, and updates?
Dimension 5: sustainability
Can the environment maintain correction and fidelity without accumulating debt too quickly?
What this public method allows
It allows comparison, qualification, and governance discussion. It does not publish the internal recipe of the restricted scoring implementation.

Operational protocol (IIP-1 to IIP-9)

A mature operational use of IIP-Scoring™ should produce a bounded corpus definition, declared execution conditions, a scored comparison set, evidence traces, risk classes, and a correction plan.
FAQ
Why “bounded” public view?
Because the public method should remain understandable and auditable without exposing the internal restricted implementation.
Is this an SEO score?
No. It can inform SEO-adjacent interpretation work, but its object is interpretive integrity, not ranking performance.
Why distinguish open web, RAG, and agentic settings?
Because the same canon may fail differently depending on the environment that reconstructs the answer.
Operational reading
This framework should be read as an operational structure for IIP-Scoring™: operational method (bounded public view), not as a promise that every external system will follow it. Its value is to identify the checkpoints that make an interpretation more governable: admitted sources, response conditions, authority boundaries, evidence traces, correction paths and limits of inference.
The framework should be applied in stages. First, determine the corpus and the decision context. Second, identify which claims require proof, which claims require refusal, and which claims must remain qualified. Third, test whether a response can be reconstructed from the admitted materials without relying on smoothing, default inference or unauthorized synthesis. Finally, record what remains uncertain so that correction is possible later.
Practical boundary
The framework is not a metric by itself and not a substitute for an audit. It provides the structure that an audit can use. When a failure appears, the question is not only whether the answer was wrong. The question is which layer failed: retrieval, source admission, authority ordering, interpretation, evidence, response legitimacy, execution boundary or correction discipline.
